Who we are

A couple in love with life

El Redebal is run by a couple who care about every detail. We love food so much we would like to offer everything — but we would rather keep the menu short and get it right: real respect for the produce, carefully cooked. And we keep our own traditions, because in Segovia suckling pig is served the way it always has been.

We have the enthusiasm, the drive and the humility to make everything we create with love and passion something for you to enjoy.

  • We came without a booking and were served quickly and very warmly. The food was very good. The Castilian soup and the Segovian ponche come highly recommended. We would come back without hesitation!

  • The first thing you notice is the decor, with beautiful phrases on the walls. The service is among the best — attentive, efficient waiters. We ordered the suckling pig croquettes and the eggs with ham and foie. We will definitely be back.

  • We were spending the day here and decided to book — absolutely the right call. We had the set menu with a spectacular, very juicy suckling pig. The Segovian ponche was a delight. Incredible service.

  • Great food — we ordered à la carte and everything was wonderful. The gyoza are highly recommended and the suckling pig has nothing to envy of more famous places. Great, very pleasant service.

The place

We are on Plaza de la Alhóndiga, a small square with a calm that is hard to find in the centre. Next door stands La Alhóndiga, the old grain store of sixteenth-century Segovia. In summer we set out the terrace.
